Hungarian Midget Woman Location: Midwest	It's a fat supplement. It's basically rice bran with some probiotics. It helps with weight gain for sure! I have fed it in the past.

Elite Veteran Posts: 682 Location: Northwest	I use to feed it to a hard keeper and it worked well but I have since switched to Nutrena XTN which works amazing for very hard keepers. Like someone else said, Empower Boost is basically a great quality rice bran. That being said, the the oils in it do help coat etc. but I wouldn't feed it just for that. You might want to try the Empower Balance instead of the Boost. Great feed for non-hard keepers. Just my personal experiences though!

Big Gun Posts: 2216 Location: Texas	I have used it for about 4 months, but not for fat suupliment but for what it has in it. I like the way my horse looks on it. He is a palomino and in the winter he looses his golden hair but this year he got a little lighter but not near as lighter as he usually does.
