How is the bead work standing up to the horses rubbing. Are the beads snagging? |

| There is a gal here who makes beaded tack- I have some and her stuff holds up and looks awesome. I think it all depends on the quality if the beadwork- she also inlays into leather and its very secure. Ill try to figure out how to post pics!

My beaded noseband on my halter is holding up great! And I by no means baby it. I've had it since last July and was just looking over it the other day and not a single bead is even a little loose yet. |

Location: Somewhere in N.C. | the beadwork will last longer than the bling. It holds up great with everyday wear and tear. I have a browband headstall I have used for 3 years 5 days a week and beside being dirty, looks new. It if is good bead work and attached property, you shouldn't have any problems. a beaded halter will probably not hold up as long just because of horses rubbing etc.

Location: ND | You'll find it all in my barn. I've got losts of plain leather headstalls on my work bits. Then there's nice leather & rawhide sets, beaded pieces, blingy ones......I like different looks on different horses. |

Location: NC | I ordered my first custom tack set a few weeks ago. And I chose beads over bling. There are SO many more things you can do with a custom bead work pattern. Mine is in honor of my mother and her battle with cancer. If you can think of it, a good beader can make it. So much more creativity available to you with beads. And there are plenty of reasonably priced makers out there. |

Location: In the Hills of Texas | I love the bead work with a touch of bling. I've never had problems with the beadwork and the Rodeo Drive Conchos are guaranteed a lifetime so it's a win win situation.

| I have been waiting for the beadwork to come back in. That being said, I love rawhide, braided horsehair and hair on. Never been much for bling. A tiny little bit as an accent is OK, but it has gone so far overboard for my tastes.
It never fails, when I DO find something I really like it is about the most expensive thing you can find.
I friend of mine has started making beaded tack (well someone else does the beading) with a touch of bling and it is gorgeous...and expensive. He even added some buckstitching which I don't really care for but didn't really notice because the whole picture is beautiful. |

Location: The South | I have been in love with beadwork from the first time I saw it! So beautiful and intricate. I sent some headstalls to a lady to bead and I was like a little kid at Christmas when they came in the mail. The workmanship is amazing!!! She attached the beadwork to a suede backing and then either sewed or glued it onto the headstall. It looks and feels like it should last a very long time. And one matched with two Rodeo Drive conchos I had from a dog collar so I have beads and a little bling on one. |

Location: MD | love bling, don't love the price tag. will be sticking to the "classic leather/braided rawhide" look. That way when it goes out of style I don't HAVE to buy something new or trade or whatever. and I can not have to worry about coordinating my outfits and pads and things! |

Location: Texas | I am a Beader soI am partial to Beadwork with a little bling. I have halters I beaded years ago that are in great shape. I do line on 10lb test fishing line for durability and rot resistance. I only to loo m on halters. I do Peyote/ Brick stitch on other tack.

Location: In the land of peanuts and cotton | BLING!!! The blingyer the better! I bought a white gator set made by Crown Leather for my dark bay a couple yesrs ago. I saw it and was in LOVE with it but saw that it was $850 but then I found out it was 30% off and tax free I really loved it. |

Location: southeast Texas | Bead work is labor intensive. Making sure the beads are uniform, adding each little bead to the piece. Making sure the right color is in the right place. Then there are. Different styles, the hard one for me was the brick stitch style. ( forgot the official name ) |

Location: Oklahoma | I went into a couple of tack stores this weekend and fell in LOVE with some sets that were both beading and bling.... I've already started saving my pennies and plan on going back in about 6 weeks with some girlfriends of mine.
I have never had either. Just always ran in plain leather (how boring, I know!), but that was because I was on my own funds as a teenager. My parents wouldn't buy me expensive tack and I wasn't winning enough to pay for it myself  |
