Location: ohio-in my own little world with pretty ponies :) | We found a house AND put in an offer this morning and we are waiting to hear back! I'm so nervous and excited and hoping we don't lose it. Another couple went and looked at it this afternoon. Keeping out fingers crossed and trying to stay busy to make time go by! |

The sellers kept saying they were willing to go down and negotiate and work with us but wouldn't...couldn't make an agreement. House was over-priced but we will find the right one when it's meant to be. Thank for the support guys |

Location: Northern CA | House shopping can be so frustrating! Hang in there. We found one we just thought we had to have, it didn't work out, 2 years later, we found the perfect house, in the perfect location, on a lot more acerage, for less. The catch with this place, was that we were in a bidding war! We actually ended up paying about $12,000 more than listed price, because it was listed so low and so many people were interested in it. It was pain, and something I would not want to do again, but 4 months ago we signed the papers and moved in, love it. It was worth the wait. |

Location: ohio-in my own little world with pretty ponies :) | That's kind of what happened here. It had been for sale for almost a year and had barely anyone act interested in it. We went and looked and loved it and found out the same day there were 3 other showings and 2 others put in offers. We offered the most but still wasn't good enough and they wanted too much. |

If you want the house bad enough you can counter offer, but don't pay more then what you already set as your absolute highest, and then if an offer is ever excepted, your contract (with the offer) can be contigent on the appraisal. Meaning if you offer 165 for a house, it's accepted, but the house only appraised for 160, you can back out of the contract. |

That's exactly how we were going to do. We ended up offering our max and they didn't accept. BUT we had one come up on our search this morning that seems promising and we set up a time to go look at it. Ahhhh so much going on!!! |
