I'm not very familiar with the area. Is there an interest in barrel racing or gymkhanas?
Trainers? Or need of a trainer for it?

CGA -California Gymkhana Assoc...is the big state wide club for gymkhana.... serious competitors. They have a web site too.
There are lots of barrel racing, but they are far and wide. Get "Barrel Racer News" it will have all listing for races.

subscription $20 yearly. This is your best bet. I know there is a club in Norco and Acton , but I don't know if it's NBHA or PCBR.
Ed Wright goes out twice a year for clinics. Belinda Bates host it in Temecula, just south of Riverside/Norco. Jerri Mann for training is up in Bakerfield she is really good, there are a few others in the San Joaquin Valley.

Oh yes there is barrel racing left and right. I live in the Riverside area. NBHA District 19 is the local club and usually has anywhere from 70-100+ riders. District 18 is close enough up in the desert...small maybe 30-40 riders at the races I've been to but a great groups. California Can Chasers hosts awesome racers with over 150+ girls during the year at Riverside Rancheros. Wine Country Barrel Racers hosts racers in Temecula and that's a great arena with good races. There year end finals is 10,000 added. There's also S & B Barrel Productions who host races throughout Riverside and SB County. Great race too. Over 100 girls everytime. You get some of the best of the best running at any and all of these races. On Thursday nights Ingalls Arena in Norco has a jackpot. Wednesday nights at Riverside Rancheros there is a jackpot. So if you want barrel racing you've moved to the right area. Also, there's some good trainers out this way. I use Michelle Lang who is now in Moreno Valley and she's great to work with. There's other good trainers but she's who I use. Oh and there's National Police Rodeo that offers barrels, breakaway, goat tying, steer stopping and team roping etc. Its a amateur rodeo and lots of fun. As for gymkhanas there's one out that way...I think it's Cherry Valley something. There's also Modjeska Mavericks in Norco
(good group
). I think I covered all the local stuff. But there's much more that may be a drive but still doable :

There are tons of barrel races and gymkhanas in the area. I'm not too far from where Es is from. Lots of great trainers...I would also recomend Michelle Lang as a trainer. I've known her & her family for a long time. Feel free to private message me if you have any questions about people, places or whatever! :
