How do you get him to eat the CJ? Mine won't touch it
Does the THE need to be mixed and dosed in a syringe like some of their other products or can you top dress it?
IDK if you followed the billion +1 threads on the alfalfa cubes and pellets .... but ... I have had super good luck soaking the alfalfa cubes, then mixing the CJ in really really well.
When my 3 yo got hurt, we immediately threw her on CJ, about a billion sulfa pills daily, and the soaked alfalfa. Worked like a charm. She ate well, kept weight on, and never refused the drugs or the CJ that was mixed in. :
) I have a buddy who team sorts with me that has a super nutty mare when it comes to feed .... anywho, she initially mixed it in applesauce, stuck it in a syringe, gave it to the mare like you would wormer, and in no time that mare was craving the mix so that all she had to do was top dress the applesauce onto grain.
hope I helped
