What do y'all feed your yearlings? Minerals? Vitamins? Hay?

All the hay they want.  I increase the grain.  Feb and March 2-2 1/2 gallons a day and in April I feed 3 gallons a day.  Salt block.

I had very good luck with Woody's futurity blend, babies need more protein and in my opinion woody's did a great job without so much volume of feed-only a couple pounds a day.  Good hay-grass/alfalfa mix, salt and mineral.  I also add a little alfalfa to the diet on really cold crappy days.

I fed mine half the recommended bag amount of Ultium Growth, switching to Omelen 200 about halfway through the year. She was consistently on excellent pasture (thus the lower grain amount). Mineral block too. She looked awesome.

I think you know what I feed mine...free choice teff grass, small bit of alfalfa once a day, free choice minerals, Triple Crown Complete (about 2 lbs a day), 1 oz of SeaBuck, I add Vitamin E, Lysine & Magnesium.
