I have found a saddle made by Frontier Saddlery in AL. It looks like it is well made but, I do not know anything about them. Does anyone have experience or input on them. Thanks in advance. |

Location: Online | I had one that I won. I didn't like it. It didn't fit any of my horses or me. I didn't like the horn either, I sliced my wrist on it. I sold it.

Location: CA | I have one, I have had it a long time. I think they are a good saddle for the price. they are kind of a midrange saddle, so you can't expect martin or coats quality, but they are definently better then an other saddles in the same price range. |

Location: In the land of peanuts and cotton | There made by Mo Poore. Mo custom makes all my saddles but there not Frontier brand. The guy I work for has them made with his brand(Circle H) on them and there made just a little different. Frontiers have 4in cantels and a shorter horn and swells than mine. Mine have 5in cantle and taller horn and swells. The Circle H brand ones are priced starting at $1150 but not sure about Frontier. The trees are the the same in both saddles. I have only put it on one horse that it didn't fit the best and I had him make me one with flatter bars than the standard. Mo doesn't change the width of his gullet he just changes the angles of the bars. I love love love mine. They rode good and fit everything but that one horse so far. They hold up to everyday, multiple horses riding. Part of the stitching came out of mine on the underside. It was a safety problem just bugged me and Mo fixed it at no charge. There's a futurity trainer I believe in Mississippi named Add(can't remover last name) but that's all he uses. You can PM me I you have any questions about them. |

Location: Home on the Range | Saddles that are purchased for award saddles, most often, in order to keep costs down, are not made on the same tree as the ones bought out right.
I know that the "Futurity Frontier" I ride in, is Not the same tree as the award saddles. Futurity Frontier Saddles made by Mo are the only Saddle that Nicole Love has been riding in for years. She rides Futurity Frontier on every horse she rides, including colts. I had intentions of looking for a used Caldwell until I rode in Nicole's Futurity Frontier, so when a used one hit barrelhorseworld for sale, I bought it and absolutely love it. Linda Jett Mosley in Georgia is an excellent source to consult with regarding Frontier saddles.

| Other than the fact I got ripped on my order (as in everything was wrong that I special ordered), I like mine. It fits everything except my absolutely average stallion, who fits into any other saddle I have. Strange, but true. I like how it keeps me in the middle, no holding in, no throwing forward. I use it on the rocket mare in competition and would probably fly out of either of my other two saddles with her. It is aging fine with so-so care. |

That was something else I forgot to add. When I sit in one I feel like I'm in there and feel balanced. No feeling like I'm gonna be thrown forward or back. It made me sell everything else(Billy Cooks and Circle Y) and go to riding just Mo's saddles. |

Oh, and I had to buy a back cinch for it. I refuse to ride without one. I don't understand saddles that come with no back cinch. |

Location: Home on the Range | Most likely because hardly anyone uses a back cinch in the southeast or northeast. Something to keep in mind & ask about when purchasing a colt from that area also. |
