Location: ohio-in my own little world with pretty ponies :) | Soo ever since my Grandpa passed away in October we have slowly been going thru things....were having an auction so ya know the usual type stuff! Well, today in his barn we found a plastic holder and inside are every hunting license from 1950-1966. He kept them all and they are all in near perfect condition from being in the holder. Well, of course my hunting/fishing fanatic SO just had to have them and I think they're pretty dang cool too! We are trying to think of a cool way to display or keep them. It would go with the theme of our new house and it's something that has a story for us. We just don't know what to do. We don't want them to sit in there and get forgotten again!
Anyone with any ideas please offer them...I would greatly appreciate it :) |

| That is so cool I love old things like that. Use them to paper the wall behind your bathroom sink or as a top for a coffee table or back splash in the kitchen. I would have to put LOTS of poly over them to preserve them. |

Location: Colorful Colorado | Depending on how many you have you could place a photo of him then surround him with the licences. Use scrapbook materials to add color, then frame it.
If you have tons you could arrange them on a coffee table or end table then decopauge them. |

Location: Oregon | You can go to a framing shop and have a special mat cut and insert all the fishing licenses into a spot plus add a pic of your Grandpa. Maybe pic of Grandpa in the center and fishing licenses around that. |

This is what I would suggest. Your grandfather thought enough of them to keep them and I think this would be the best way to keep them like he had them. In the same condition they were in originally. |

Location: Colorado | I'm thinking they are about the size of a credit card? Make a wood picture frame, apply them around the edges, maybe in a scattered uneven way, coat with a varnish or clear spray, Get some glass , backing And add your favorite pic of him! |

Location: Texas | If you are not wanting to alter them in any way, I would suggest scanning them or photographing them to a digital file. You can upload pictures to shutterfly.com and create a photo book of them. That way, they are preserved but copies can be made for others in your family who may also want a copy. |
