suggestions for a swelled tendon?

I don't think that it's his actual tendon swelled... it's along the inside of it
(no swelling on the back or outside
)? Maybe ligaments that run along there? It has heat and quite a pulse in it. I'm looking for suggestions on what to do with it. Right now he's getting cold water twice a day, a cold sweat for 12 hrs and a BOT wrap for 12 hrs. Anything else you'd do? This is the 3rd time it's happened and before went away within 2 days. Everytime I put the horse out in a pasture with others, he runs and plays non stop and comes back in with something wrong! I can work him all day long and run barrels and it doesn't puff up/ affect him what so ever. Does that make any sense??

I would for sure stop turning him out with others. But I would also have him ultasounded/xrayed to make sure you don't have something damanged in there.

I would take the horse to the vet as it could be a fractured splint if the swelling keeps returning

Try Ice Vibe boots. I just bought a pair and love them. And if you access to a laser or Theraplate , they will help too. Also I wouldn't sweat it until
there is no heat in leg.

You wouldn't even do a "cold sweat" with heat in the leg?

I would ice him until the heat is gone. You can use the BOT and rub leg with Sore No More.
