If they are offering the event they will have someone their to help you tie on. You won't be able to do it by your self any way. They will convince you to ride with the right hand tied on if your right handed but use the hand your most comfortable in keeping your balance. Squeeze with your legs and if comfortable kick with your feet. When you buck off out the gate RUN!!!

Oh good, that was my big concern, being able to tire it properly to make sure I have a good grip! I was showing my hubby how I plan to hold on with my arms and legs and he was howling for a solid 5 minutes... I'm sure the crowd will get some entertainment!

And Della, you should come if you are close! I'll be the girl in the leopard print chaps!
