Bought a new Toyota Corrolla in 2005. 5-speed. gets 38-40 MPG It has 220,00 miles on it and still going strong. Other than regular maintenance, did have to replace a wheel bearing a month ago. Cheap repair. It is not my dream car, but I enjoy driving it and saves me a lot of money. Definitely will buy another one if this one ever quits, but hoping i'll get a million miles on it. My husband rebuilds engines and works on old trucks all the time and he has been impressed on how good this car has been.

So I have been looking at a smaller car also. Its been hard I am a die hard ford diesel fan will not ever get rid of my 7.3. But that being said I need something to help save the miles on my truck. been looking at both Pontiac vibes and the kia souls. Anybody have some feed back on either of these cars. Also a toyota matrix
