Location: Central Texas		 I'm still looking for ways to cut back on monthly expenses. I would like to cut off the house phone completely but we don't have great cell service at the house so that's not an option. In my research I've come across a gazillion cheap alternatives that all use VoIP. Just wondering if some where better than others. Thanks for any input.
I did cut off my Verizon cell phone and went with Straight Talk which has saved me just over 50 dollars a month!! Woo Hoo!!

Location: Central Texas		VoIP = Voice over Internet Protocol.  Such as Magic Jack, Ooma Telo, Basic Talk, ITP etc.......usually a box that you plug into your router and phone. Does not use actual telephone lines.
Does anyone have this?

Location: LuluLand~along I64 Indiana		we have it here at the business that links the locations together on a private line.  the voip phones always have to be reset .... i dont know if i would be quick to do it at home from our experience here at work.

Thanks for the reply. That's what I was wondering....what the downside is to the VoIP.
