We do it because it's so hot here during the day. Ours are up by 8:00 am and out around 7:00 pm or after we ride. The sun tends to bleach them out as well so being up helps with that also. I'm sure others have different reasons, but that is why we do it. :)

Mine are out 24/7 with access to stalls if they want them, but I don't see any reason to do it either way.  Especially in the heat and bugs.

Mine are only out on pasture at night since that's when I'm not riding, daytime hours they're in corrals so I can catch them easy to get everyone worked.

Mine are in their stalls during the day and out at night. They come in between 6 and 7 in the morning and get let out about 7 at night, or once I am done riding. It gets hot here in Texas, so they have fans in their stalls. I also don't want them to get bleached by the sun.

I would see nothing wrong with that.

When it's hot out, most horses aren't grazing during midday anyway. They're just standing around, or taking naps. When its cooler, they'll be more apt to graze anyway. Just make sure you have proper bug control if the bugs are nuts at night.

I stall mine during the day with fans & they go out at night . My horses hate the bugs & heat .. So they are much happier this way . Mine too come in at 6:30 am & out at about 7 or 8 .. Sometimes not until it's dark when horse flies are out .

I do it too! Mine are in during the day by about 6:30am with their fans on and go out about 6-7 at night! They are happier this way I think!

I started stalling mine in during the day and out at night this past Monday. It's high 80's here with humidity already... I have fans on them in the stalls and they are out around 6-7:00.

I turn mine out on 40 acres and use to have to "hoof it" when them suckers would take off. Now I have a four wheeler...and a big lunge whip! They are very easy to get in now!
