What kind of saddle would you recommend for a high withered horse? I bought a csi pad and doesn't help much. Saddle still leans forward.

If your saddle leans forward either the gullet is too big, the angle of the bars is wrong, or the rock in the saddle is too much or too little.

The Pozzi no 10 is supposed to have a lot or rock

I also don't how a saddle is going to fit by how high the withers are, as the withers shouldn't have an impact on how a saddle fits.

The shape of a horses back will tell you how much or little rock you will need, I have a high withered horse who actually is fairly flat backed, I also have one who almost looks sway backed, both horses have high withers, but both require different amounts of rock in the saddle.

I also look at how big the shoulders are, and how the shoulders tie into the body, I had a horse who had high withers, but his shoulders were set farther back which required him to need less rock in the saddle, and i needed a saddle with a riggin less then 1/2 inch

Point of my post, there is so much more that goes into saddle fit then just the wither, if the bars are too narrow this can also cause the saddle to pop up.

I suggest speaking with a saddle maker/fitter and have an expert look at your horse
