Location: Red Raiderland | I would like to get more eyes on my mare to see if y'all see anything going on with her...beside her being a total spaz in heat...even on progestrone! Anyway, I would really appreciate ANY response, good, bad or indifferent. Thanks everyone! This video was taken yesterday after an hour ride. Give me a minute to get it uploaded..................sorry about the poor video quality but I was by myself and it was the best I could do. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gfmUPhQEYVg

| She is stopping more on her front end then I like to see, this could be her style or could be an indicator of sore hocks.
For lameness videos it is best to have the horse walk away and back to the camera then trot. Trotting circles is good too, the straight line directly away from the camera you can see how she is travelling and how she moves and places her feet, this will tell you a lot about your horse. |

Nice place by the way! |

Location: Red Raiderland | Thanks for everyone's comments, I reallllly appreciate them. She is a high strung mare and always has been, all race bred, Streakin Six. She is 12 and I've owned her since she was two. She has ALWAYS been front endy and has made it a harder ride, for sure. I should have put her in the round pen but I had my phone right there and thought I'd just see what she would do in the arena...ENERGIZER BUNNY ...it was really for me to just go back and see. I actually didn't even catch the first minute where she decided to go full speed toward the alley. Ugh!
She was seen by a lameness vet last Tue and had both hocks injected, right was much more sore than left. She has arthritis in back right which to be honest, I have always felt has never been 100% since she went off to the trainers years ago and came back. She had a rough start training and we pushed too hard too fast and her brain could not handle it. I am not an aggressive rider on her at all and she usually lands in the 3D at big shows in Texas sometimes, sometimes in the mid 2D's which I am perfectly happy with. She's a nice girl to be around but she has her mare moments, like yesterday, which I guess all us gals do. She has been checked over by a repro vet, too and had her ovaries U/S and all was clear. Hey, thanks for the kind comments on our ranch. I still can't believe this is our place. It was a hidden gem(definitely diamon in the rough) that we did not discover until 2012(we lived a mile and a half from it for 10 years) and we built all of it from the scratch. It was trying at times but I LOVE it more and more each day. I will never take it for granted, EVER. Y'all are welcome to come ride anytime! |

Biblia, I was thinking the same but I wanted y'all to get a look, too. Hoping, hoping that she got a lot of relief. She looks much better to me but not quite there. Thanks for the look! |

| She looks a little short/off in her back end,,,, It looks like its her back left. Its as if she is putting all her weight on her front end when she stops to turn, might be sore in her hocks. Other than that the other thing I noticed is your AMAZING sandy pen!!! Very envious!! |
