Way to go, Bummer. This is already happening with medicare/medicaid patients That is why a medicare supplement is so important for people on medicare. YUP! And Medicare is SLOW to reimburse doctors and labs for their work, and they barely pay enough to cover costs. Many doctors are handling that problem by refusing Medicare patients.
That is how a Free Enterprise System/Market works. A Business Owner reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
Can't say as I disagree with this concept. Freedom is a good thing! "I" have such a loyal following that someone actually took the time to dislke "Freedom is a good thing" post. HA! I hope those who disagree actually have the 'previlge' of living under Socialism/Communism! Then see just how much "You" dislke "Freedom is a good thing" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree. |

Don't sweat it Clay. I think you probably know who the "disliker" is......at least I do. She doesn't have the nerve to speak up in defense of Obamunism, even though it is vital to her livelihood. Think about it and take a wild guess. |

Location: In The Land of Cotton | We all said people would find a way to cheat the system and get free subsidies over and over. While this was done on purpose, you know (if you have half a brain) that people are actually doing it in real life, or they wouldn't have done the test.
Welcome to America, the land of people who don't work and scam the government at the expense of those who are honest.

Location: lost in missouri | My question/thought is, not that it will probably ever happen because Obama and his croonies will make sure we always have ACA, but what if they r ruled to be illegal subsidy payments, we as the taxpayers are owed that money back. Do you actually think they will be forced to pay back the money they got in illegal subsidies my guess is no. it will just be wrote off. There is no way the people who got the subsidy could pay it back since they cant afford healthcare to begin with and i doubt the insurance companies will be made to cough it back up, i mean they are the main reason we have this mess. Would it not be wonderful for every business and service to be able to put enough money in campaigns to buy their way into their goods and services being made law that the American consumer must buy their goods and services. This country is really going down the drain. What really gets me to is how many people do not see ACA as an infringement on their freedom? really? a govt telling u what u have to buy is not an infringement? |

The case centers on a brief description in the health law that says subsidies will be available "through an exchange established by the state." This was taken from CNN's website. No matter what the "intent" of this statement to me it cleary states an exchange established by the state. It does not say anything about the federal exchange allowing subsidies. I am sure this is one of many things not caught/read in the thousands of pages that make-up this law.

Location: In the Hills of Texas | I have to spend $12,000. before my healthcare kicks in. What a joke $6,000. a year in premiums and a $6,000. deductible for me alone. It's not healthcare..It's catastrophic insurance. But wait..I get a free physical once a year..LOL |
