| from a bi-polar magnetic blanket? Did you see any difference? Have you had a horse that likes the PHT blanket but doesn't care for the poll pack? I have a horse with a sore back and the BOT doesn't seem to be making a difference. |

Is that the only PHT product you have? I love them for myself, too. I sit on my PHT wraps when I am driving long distances and boy do they help my hip pain. But I am wondering if my horse just doesn't like the poll pack but will like the blanket instead. I am going to call them and ask, I just have to wait till i get off work. |

I also have the blanket and hock wraps. I had kept the poll pack on my one horse every day while stalled. He was fine with it for months. One evening I came in the barn the fly mask was half off his face. Next morning put it back on while he was eating his breakfast. Came back to do a last min check before Harding off to work, fly mask with poll pack off his head and laying in the shavings. I put a fly mask without the poll pack on him and that fly mask with poll pack on the other horse next to him. That evening she had worked it off her head also. Not sure what happened. Why the sudden reaction. I don't have any issues like that with the blanket or hock wraps. |

Thank you! That was what I was worried about. I had the Duratech and he hated that thing and then when he didn't like the poll pack I thought magnets were out for him. But I later learned that many people have had trouble with the Duratec brand. He likes the old Norfield fine, but from what I have read you must be careful with bi-polar magnets. Plus I love PHT for me. I am thinking because he was so out in his poll that the mags couldn't help him. I didn't know he was out, I just thought he was fresh. Now I think I am going to measure him and order a PHT. |

Those Big D style sheets don't fit my horse, I wish they had more of a Weatherbeta style sheet with an open front. |

Just thinking out loud .... could a person converted it to an open front, or is there magints right dead center?
I've converted several closed front blankets to open front. |

Um My Mom bought an open front blanket during thier Black Friday sale (or right after). Not sure if it was a fluck that they had one but I got one. I also have a horse that I might be able to get one over his head but I highly doubt it lol So the open front is always his ( I do have a closed front one also)
But an option if they really don't have any open fronts anymore is you could make your's an open front. I seen on facebook a while back where someone was selling an old blanket and you could tell where they had altered it and make it an open front. That's always an option if you still want to use yours. |

I don't know, I think they used to have open fronts .. not sure. I asked and was told to scrunch it up really small to get it over his head. That didn't go over too well.
I didn't think about converting it to an open front … I don't think there were magnets there. I sold it. I probably didn't want to mess with it. Who knows what I was thinking. |

Why don't you just cut in and resew it to be an open front. My mom did that once and it worked out really well. |

Location: Here | We no longer have open front blankets. We sold the rest of old stock during a couple of years ago black friday sale. Personally I have always been able to get the closed fronts over the horses heads. The difficult ones, I stand at their side while I have a cookie in the outside hand. Once on, I never have any other issues |

If a horse or person is really sore in an area, when you apply magnetic therapy it can increase the blood flow where it can create a zing like your foot being asleep until the area becomes unblocked. But this is a rare deal. |
