What are some good saddles with the forward hung fenders. I'm looking at the Martha Josey and pro-rider. What are your thoughts?

Try one before you buy one.  The forward hung stirrups keep you from pulling yourself forward to catch up with your horse when you leave a barrel.

I totally agree. I ordered a new Bob Marshall with the forward hung fenders a few years ago and I hated it...rode in it 10 times and sold it!! The biggest problem I had was when I was trying to post in a jog the stirrups would swing forward out from under me every step....never have had that problem in any other saddle, ugh!! I love the forward hung stirrups on the Josey's, and the Circle Y Proven saddles, and the Just Be Natural saddles though!!

Some newer Pozzi's have adjustable  slot fenders ..cool ideas ..there used to be Josey's with that also.
I like  forward fenders on a butt hi horse as on those horses you get slammed into the swells and horn .You can also attach a little strap under the swell around the top of the fender to keep them from swinging backwards.. I have two saddles that have that.
