I have a clinic this weekend and I can't hardly stand riding for 30 mn!!!Has any of you have this happened to you? What did you do to alleviate the pain?

Bag Balm. Old school, comes in a green tin and you can get it at any farm store - works wonders on saddle sores/blisters/ ouchy issues.

ps. OUCH!!!!!

Try some of that sunburn medicine with aloe vera and lidocaine in it. It should numb the area for a bit.

Vetricyn on one of those clear rubber breathable band aids. It will protect the chafe and kill any bacteria under the blister for when it pops. This has happened to me several times. I'm a bigger girl but can't ride in loose jeans or else I will get chaffed on my butt crease or behind my knees.
DO NOT use diaper cream… I thought it would help once and all it did was make things worse and soften the skin around it so the next time I rode it felt like my skin was just tearing apart.

Mustard. I'm serious. Put mustard on it then cover it with a band aid. I promise it will draw the fluid out of the blister. I've used it for other blisters and even convinced my husband to try it when he burnt himself cooking. It was gone the next day.

Spandex shorts will keep it from rubbing further.
