My daughter is running one and I'm running my 5yo
(aka Crackhead
) and my 24yo
(aka Fat Lady Lindy
). We run both events so we are going to be busy. It's a fun race and I love going even though I wish the finals were a clean slate, especially for the poles.
Anybody want to try to have a meet & greet?
Competing just against your D in the finals is what I like about it, something different than the usual format. It is not so much up to chance and getting lucky and landing right to win a check but actually making a good run against your competition. Poles looks to be huge this year. I am bringing my pole horse out of retirement, hoping to make a mid 20's run. With the splits the way they are looks like the mid 21s will fall in a whole. My girls can run low 20's easy, me, not so much. I have only run him a handful of times. Luckliy, he is as automatic as you can get so we shall see.
