It's good to see you vet had good news! Just food for thought though- I was told by a respiratory specialist that Lasix is ineffective unless given IV. He said IM and oral had been clinically proven to not work. This was just one vet, and I haven't read the research, but I would definitely get more info on Lasix protocols before giving oral Lasix.

I've never heard it's ineffective by mouth or IM, I give mine by IM every time and it works just as fast and well as IV. IM and oral usually have to be given further out then IV, which works faster but lowers blood pressure more as well.
