Location: 100 miles from Nowhere, AR | I tried sassy & tessa's wide fit. LOVED it! Fit my horse awesome, he liked it, and it felt like it was made for my butt. I felt very close to my horse and well-balanced. So I ordered a new one. Was so relieved my saddle hunt was over. And then the new one got here and it didn't fit my horse. It just perched up on him and was too tight in the shoulders--didn't appear to have the same flare as the one I tried. We double checked serial numbers and it was confirmed to be a wide. I sent it back hoping to get an extra wide that was supposed to have more flare, only to find out that they quit making those. The End. |

I see there are a few used ones that pop up on Facebook, I suggest checking the year they are manufactured and get one as close to the time Sassy and Tessa's was made.
I have heard that too, I have one of the first ones made and I have been told mine fits wider then the new ones |

Location: Blissfully happy Giants fan!!! | I bought mine brand spanking new this year. Apparently it was the one and only lucky day I had this year and I got my model before they quit making that super wide tree. I bought the one I did because it said it was made to fit. Louie and the horse this was going for is built like him. It was exactly what she needed. I don't think it is the highest quality saddle out there but it fits my horse and that is all that mattered to me. I will ride around a saddle if it fits my horse. Also, this saddle doesn't swing my legs back. Never has but I think only treeless saddles would do that to me and given what all of my vets tells me, ain't no way any of those will be parking in my trailer. I have been yelled at enough by them. :) |

| Thanks for the responses. Someone on a previous thread said they ordered one right thru Lisa. How would one go about that? |

Location: North Dakota | I've got the extra wide Lisa Lockhart. Love, love, love it!

I have zero problem with the "freedom of swing" in the stirrups. But I was talking to one gal who tried the saddle and hated it for that reason, but we decided that it was because she was very tall with long legs. I'm more of an average height, so I don't think it bothers me. |

| How do you know if it's extra wide vs wide? I have one that's a few years old that I'm going to be selling once my new Merrill is finished. I want to make sure and market it correctly.
As far as fit and how it rides, I love it. I got it because Lynne suggested I try one, Brenda won one during the NFR one year and really liked it (it's the one she uses on Dora). I tried it and really liked the way it rode and it fit my colt great. It's the wide (not sure on the extra wide part) tree. The only thing that I don't care for is the horn, it's so tiny I'm afraid I'm going to miss it on him. I haven't yet but he's also only 4 and not really running yet. Anyway, it's filling the void while I'm having a new Merrill made :) |

Location: 100 miles from Nowhere, AR | Serial number ends in 05 for wide.
There was some specific piece they needed for the flared tree that they had trouble getting last spring and then discontinued. This was according to 2 dealers and circle Y. |
