Location: Mississippi | ****SORRY IN ADVANCE FOR PERSONAL INFO....IM NERVOUS IS ALL***So amongst having mono and pneumonia, they have decided that due to having a history of abnormal paps and with cervical cancer issues running on both sides of my family I need to have the LEEP procedure. This years pap came back high grade and the biopsy from the colposcopy did as well. Im only 24, and this is not pleasant for me at all. I am a teacher and cant really talk to anyone about this due to it being a very small town and most everyone is very to themselves and would just say "bless your heart." Not really sure what I am asking, but maybe looking for reassurance? Thank you. And sorry for the non horse related post. |

| Better to take stuff out while you're healthy and can recover than to wait until you have to fight cancer and recovery at the same time. Good Luck!! |

Location: Friendswood, Texas | I had a D&C when I was 28 because of severe dysplasia and from what 13 biopsies showed in the results. My heart goes out to you for feeling alone. I was the only female at my workplace and my mom had passed away way only months before. You WILL find strength and peace because WE are pulling for you and praying for you. Don't be afraid to ask for a nurse to hold your hand. That was such a comfort at the time. Take care and God Bless. |

Location: In a happy place | I know this seems like horrible news and I realize how young you are.....but I think you should be very thankful they have found this early enough. Hopefully they can get on top of this and you won't ever have to take chemo. Anything to be able to by-pass chemo will be so much better. I promise. You have my prayers. |

Location: Texas | I am sorry you are having to go through all of this. I had a procedure done and had to go by myself and it was terrifying. My husband works out of state and it did not want to postpone procedure and my mom was unable to come due to her own health issues. I hope you are able to have family come help you but reality is that I didn't need any help post procedure , but yours sounds more invasive. Best of luck to you and you have my prayers |
