Mare fades during her run

Ok bought this mare almost two years ago for a youth to lease. She at one time had been "a HS rodeo horse" supposedly. The girl I bought her from couldn't get her to hit the 5D local but the mare was honest as the day was long and perfect for confidence boosting. She rings her tail and pees during a run and always looked like she was giving 10000% but spinning her wheels. So I had an extensive vet check done. Ultra sounded ovaries nothing but sewed her up anyway. Vet thinks possible weak bladder
( think moms when they sneeze
) could not find any lameness. I had a chiro out every two weeks until she started staying in
( all front end problems
) treated for ulcers. We got her hitting 3D local Then she strains her superfical digital flexor tendon. RF Gave her a year off. I started legging her up slowly 6 weeks ago and ran her for the first time last week. We won the 4D :
) but she still fades after 2nd. I know she's still outta shape and I weigh more then a kid. But could she be bleeding. she acts like she's trying but can't maintain speed after second and runs outta gas. Gets on the muscle when they crank the music wants to GO doesn't refuse ally. Doesn't cough after a run. Going to treat for ulcers again but was going to start her on lung aid
( what I use for my known bleeder
) ideas? Keep legging her up or go ahead and scope her. I just feel like after riding her
( I never ran her until last week was always the kid
) that she can't breathe 1/2 way though

Bleeding is a definite possibility! And they don't always bleed outwardly, sometimes they bleed for a long time before anyone notices. The best thing would be to have a vet scope her following a run and see what everything looks like.

Maybe more legging up will help also could be shes running out of air midway thru the run. Does it take her long time to get her wind back after running? Some horses just don't have the lung capacity that others do.
