Location: ohio-in my own little world with pretty ponies :) | I have been using alfalfa pellets for my two not so easy keepers. They aren't terrible looking and alfalfa pellets have helped but it seems they are both at a stand still. I've read some good reviews on Cool Calories and they had it at TSC when I went there so I picked some up. Anybody have good experiences using it? |

| I used to use cool calories and I loved it. My horse was glossy and fat (I used 3 scoops and she seemed to do just fine) with no "hotness." I stopped using it though because it has BHT as a preservative and started using the King Brand 20/20 Ultra because there are no preservatives. Cool Cal is a great, economical supplement and it really works without the extra sillies in some of the other feeds. |

Location: Winging It in KY | My husband brought it home and I am using it. I am not really sure if it has helped my horse or not. I think the beet pulp that I feed him has done better than anything. As far as the Cool goes, I have been giving him a scoop 2x a day. I noticed that it made his manure really loose on the weekends when we were at the shows and he got nervous when in the warmup pen. So now I back him down to 1/2 to 3/4 scoop Thurs - Sat. It has stopped the loose manure. I have not noticed it making him high which is a plus. I had a friend tell me that she had really good luck with it but I can't say that I have noticed too much. I am just going to finish feeding it and probably not buy anymore. Maybe I am not feeding enough, don't know. I would be afraid it would give him the squirts. |

Location: Central Texas | I use it on a wide range of horses. From the oldest pony alive (at least I believe she is), our QH's and 2 TB's. It has been an amazing product for all of them. I have tried other products from time to time but always come back to Cool Calories. |

Location: CTX | I am giving it to my 25 year old. Last winter I gave her beetpulp, but in the spring she started leaving most of it in her feeder, so I had to find something else to get her back to the weight I wanted her. (Took my gelding away for a while, and she started loosing weight because of that...) She picked up a bunch of weight. So I do believe it helps. In a couple of weeks I will probably start her back on the beetpulp, to see if she will eat it again. But will keep on going with the cool calories. |

Location: ohio-in my own little world with pretty ponies :) | The thing is my 2 will eat the beet pulp or alfalfa pellets good for a few weeks and then start to leave it. They are both healthy but just aren't how I really like them to be. My other 3 look FABULOUS! Soo I guess we will give it a shot. |

Location: Southwest Minnesota | I used Cool Calories for a 20+ year old gelding that we used to have. I had great results with it. He was fat, his coat was shiny, he looked awesome! I liked it much better than Weight Builder. |

| I used it but my picky eater ate around it... its kinda a sugary substance so its easy to sift to the bottom of your feeder.
Have you tried forco? Thats worked wonders for my gelding! |

| I use it when I'm beefing up my barrel horse for halter shows during the summer, it makes her fill out but doesn't make her stupid. |

| I feed it and like it. I only give it to my hard keepers so I won't have to give them 9898989 pounds of feed LOL. |
