Its a great place to move to for equine. There are several great vets close by in Sallisaw. There is a summer weekly jackpot in Muldrow, and about every night of the week within an hour or so drive. There is the Arkansas/Oklahoma Barrel Racers Association (the A-OK), several indoor arenas  with an hour or so that have jackpots through out the winter months. Amateur rodeo associations have rodeos every weekend (Cowboys Regional Rodeo Association, International Professional Rodeo Association, Arkansas Rodeo Association, ACRA, etcs).. If you rope, there are weekly ropings and several USTRC or WSTR happening in the region.  Fort Smith, Ar is about 20 minutes if that from you. Tulsa isn't far either. There always seems to be something going on!
