I've never used them personally but had a friend who tried it on her horse that was a bleeder and they didnt help him at all.  First run back after the patches he bled again.

Not trying it for a bleeder or to stop that, for tying up Thanks

Regardless in my opinion they are worthless (sorry to be blunt). The whole idea behind "re-setting the electrolyte balance" with a patch is absurd to me and there is absolutely no research behind what this product claims to do.  I would focus more on diet if you are wanting to address a tying up problem.  Just my 2 cents!

I don't know what those patches are and have never heard of them. My knowledge of tying up is an electrolyte imbalance. I would give a electrolyte  before your ride and after. I like using THElectrolyte because it is a full spectrum. Has really helped my horses stay hydrated and healthy.

I already give electrolytes before and after I run just wondered if this would be a better solution.

Nope, I wouldn't do it. I asked a dealer about them and I never got a clear answer about what they did or how they worked and what scientific research has been done. Also be careful with the electrolytes, if your horse won't drink with them then the there will be a high concentration in the blood of electrolytes and that can cause problems.
