Oh, and I can only have chicken, turkey, lamb, or fish (no shellfish). I really live on chicken or salmon, and an assortment of cauliflower, broccoli, brussel sprouts, zuchinni, asparagus, onions, garlic, etc. Good times right? But it will probably lengthen my life because I'm not putting all the chemicals, sugar, preservatives, etc into my body. I have come to realize that I am certainly gluten sensitive as any time I have any bread I feel like I have little pinpricks all over my body. No if I could just give up the Jack Daniels...

I'm doing pretty good so far, went to our state fair yesterday and held off from eating ice cream, pizza and actually found a gluten free food stand!!  So I'm not starving but it's alot to take in so quickly!  I'm planning to take in the groceries next week but for now I've got some fruit, almond milk and fruity pebbles to eat!!!  And salads of course..............wonder if they have a meal plan ticket I could buy at Texas Roadhouse????     Nothing like a filet, steamed broccoli , baked potato, and salad!!

Pinterest will be your best friend, gluten and dairy free eating can be dry tasteless and boring but pinterest makes it awesome! I've found so many amazing recipes that helped me out a ton, and I actually enjoy eating gluten free now. Another key thing is to find good gluten free flour. I love premium gold gluten free flax and ancient grains flour from costco, and with it I can make almost anything gluten free. Really watch your salad dressings, etc. because unfortunately most items have gluten in them which is depressing!! I'm going to attach a picture of my flour!
