| Hello, friends. As I journey through another day, the Lord Jesus has an encouraging word for me and you. Consider your heart. Not the beat of your heart, rather, consider the content of your heart. Proverbs 21 goes right tot he heart of the matter. God reminds us up front that He holds us in the palm of His hand. Even a kind is not exempt from the sovereign touch of the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Like a meandering river winding its way across the land, God will never leave or forsake us Deut. 31:6
Proverbs 21 :1-10 The kings' heart is in hand of the Lord, Like the rivers of water; he turns it wherever He wishes.
Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, But the Lord weighs the hearts. To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. A haughty look, a proud heart, and the plowing of the wicked are sin. The plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty, but those of everyone who is hasty, surely to poverty. Getting treasures by a lying tongue Is the fleeting fantasy of those who seek death. The violence of the wicked will destroy them, because they refuse to do justice. The way of a guilty man is perverse; but as for the pure his work is right. Better to dwell in a corner of a housetop, than a house shared with contentious woman. The soul of the wicked desires evil ;His neighbor finds no favor in his eyes.
This proverb identifies much of that debris in our lives as we wander sinfully and aimlessly toward our final destination. Though our way seems so right in our own eyes, our plans and our desires can bring so much heartache to ourselves and to others. Thankfully, God holds our hearts in the palm of His hand.
Perhaps this is a day when you have sensed the load you carry is weighing you down to the point of exhaustion? Perhaps you find yourself at somewhat of a dead end road? Let eh Spirit of the Lord speak to you. This is what He does through His Word. Deep in your heart you know that God loves you so much So be encourage today.
Dear heavenly Father, THANK YOU for all You mean to me today. THANK YOU most of all for the Lord Jesus Christ. I am so grateful for my salvation and the forgiveness of all of my sin. Where would I be and what would I do without You? You have not only set me free, but You have also given me such encouragement for my journey today. I worship You. In Jesus name I pray AMEN
FOR IT IS WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.
WILL YOU BE A POINT OF LIGHT , WITH JESUS IN YOUR HEART PAY IT FORWARD, AMEN
