Anyone have one? Worth the money? Which series would you/ did you buy? I need to eat healthier, and between a child, full time job, and horses/cattle, eating is getting the short end of the stick.
Thanks!

I love, love, love mine.  My husband bought it for me for Christmas last year.  I went thru a phase where I was eating shakes for lunches and my old blender just couldn't blend the ice.  The Vitamix has zero issues with ice!

My favorite part about the entire thing is that it cleans itself.  I used to hate handwashing my old blender all the time because the blades scared me and I used it too frequently to let it wait for the dishwasher.

As much as I love it, if you're only wanting to make shakes (and not make your own flour or powdered sugar... things of that nature) you can probably get by with a good enough blender for a 1/4 or 1/3 of the cost.

ETA:  I have the Professional Series 750 model.  My husband bought around Christmas time (actually more like probably Christmas Eve) from Williams Sonoma and took advantage of their bonus money promotion (I think it was like $10 for every $50 you spend)... so I ended getting like $150 in Williams Sonoma giftcard as well!

had one for years and love it. Had it so long, cant tell you the series. It has two containers-one for wet and one for dry items. I messed up last year and put some dates in that I thought were pitted, but were not , and broke the turning part. They sent a replacement part for like 16.00 and instructed me on how to fix and it is good as new.

love it! My VM 7500, 64oz low profile, FABULOUS. The soups are great but the shakes cant be beat! Healthy and delicious. Worth every penny.
