For Your loving kindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word above all your name. In the day when I cried out, You answered me, and made me bold with strength in my soul. GOD IS GOOD! Pause for a moment and consider that statement. It has become so familiar that it may have lost its power. But believe me, this is an amazing truth........GOD IS GOOD! Some would say, "God cannot be good. Have you seen all the evil in our world today? A good God would not allow that to happen." Yet all of the wickedness in the world cannot change this fact: even when times are bad, GOD IS GOOD! Others would say, "God cannot be good. If He is good, then why do we encounter sickness and suffering? " Even when health is bad GOD IS GOOD! How good is God? Verse 3 In the day when I cried out, You answered me, and made me bold with strength in my soul. Jeremiah 33:3 "Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know. GOD IS GOOD! God is so good that He deserves our love and praise. David said, "They shall sing of the ways of the Lord, for great is the glory of the Lord. Psalm 138:5 David offered praise to God because of His loving Kindness and truth GOD IS GOOD! God is so good that even thought He is "on high" He "regards the lowly" this is an amazing truth. GOD IS GOOD! God is so good that He promises to finish what He has started in His children. The Lord will perfect that which concerns me. Paul wrote, "He who has begun a good work in you will complete it Phil 1:6 Maybe for some reason you have doubted God's goodness and love. Remember once again that His mercy endures forever and GOD IS GOOD! FOR IT IS WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.
