I knew I was pregnant 3 weeks in because of morning sickness.  Couldn't afford a dr visit until I was 8-9 weeks.  In that time I lost 20+ pounds.  Doc put me on prenatal vitamins and I finally found the money for them at about 12 weeks.  Bam, no more morning sickness.

I feel your pain.... I didn't realize what morning sickness really was until now that I'm going through it. I'm about 14 weeks now and it's starting to get better. I get the sick feeling more in the evenings now than morning....
Everyone will tell you to eat crackers. I tried for a few days, now I can't even think about crackers. yuk! I really don't have any good advice, besides just keep trying different things. I ate soup for a while, then cereal, sonic hamburgers w just mustard & pickles. Gatorade was good for a while. I just tried to sleep as much as I could! Most food still sounds gross to me. The one thing I do like is fried rice and veggies at the Japanese steak houses.... And I'm starting to eat apples and grapes again. They leave my mouth feeling clean (if that makes sense?) I just have dry mouth a lot?

Sorry to ramble, but hope something there helps? How far along are you?

Only 8 weeks :/

Me and my husband don't really trust the doctor that we originally had in our town so we are looking for a new one, hopefully one that has had lots of experience with pregnant woman and babies. Drugs sound amazing right now though.
This week has been the worst so far. The mornings remind me of back when I was in college, dry heaving a lot and only bringing acid up. It's awful. I Was taking two Prenatal gummy vitamins at night with some dinner but the last two days I Have cut it down to just taking one, hoping it would help and I think maybe it somehow did the opposite. Last night we went out to dinner with the family, felt ok while I was there but the whole drive back home I kept on almost asking my husband to pull over so I could get sick. Eventually we got home and I didn't make it three steps until I let it all out. Then this morning I tried some pumpkin seeds. Tasted good and for an hour I was content but then those came up too. I just had lunch at home with my in-laws and so far everything seems to be ok but I wouldn't be surprised if I had to bring everything up again in a hour or less.
I know a few weeks ago I lost a few pounds from the morning sickness but last I checked I gained it back. I have not checked recently though because I feel so bloated I just don't feel like I could've lost any weight but I might check tomorrow morning.
I also haven't been craving any sort of food though, everything just tastes that same to me now. Except chocolate chip cookies lol.
Bleggg, I can just blame my husband for all of this, right??

I recommend the zofran also! I was very sick the first 14 weeks or so. I am currently 31 weeks now and the nausea is starting back a bit.

Not to steal the thread, but the ladies that are late in pregnancy.. how are you feeling? I am so grateful for this little man growing inside me-but I have moved past feeling like a moo-moo and on to feeling like a whale. I have swelling in my feet and in the last two weeks my maternity pants are getting pretty snug! How are you all holding up?
