Oh Utah, if you rode her you wouldn't be able to resist her! She is SUCH a nice mare and sooooooo much fun. She's going to make a rodeo horse too....as she MUCH prefers asphalt type ground to nice disked pretty ground! She has been such a pleasure to have in the barn this summer! Get her now before we start back in the spring and start hauling her! |

She's about to go home for the winter I think, but i'm sure i'll have her again in the spring. Sure would love to see someone get her who can appreciate all the buttons she has and how cool she is! |

She continues to impress me.....every single time I put a halter on this girl she surprises me at how easy everything is. Decided that I would start working with her going on the walker and saddling this weekend. Needless to say none of this was an issue. She's had a bareback pad on once before this and yesterday I just tied her to the trailer and saddled her like a broke riding horse. No big deal.....hooked her to the walker.....no big deal. Felt like I might as well step on her and ride her off, but i'm not that brave. HAHA Let me remind you that two weeks before LRQHS met in Tyler to pick up this filly she had never had a halter on. I just can't believe how easy she is. We like her so much that another El Scorcho colt will be coming to live at our place soon. He will be my mom's colt, but maybe just maybe she'll let me enjoy him a little bit.Â
I guess the body looks ok but I look at that head and see a Mule!!  |
