Subject: Freeing a horse up

I read in an article in BHN where Jolene Montgomery said she freed her horses up btwn runs if needed. Are there certain exercises to do this or is it mainly just breezing your horse?

We turned an old pleasure mare into a barrel horse.  Not only did we breeze her, we used another horse along with breezing her.  It really made her competetive nature come out so she ran harder because she didn't want to get beat.

Location: Bandera, TX		It's so cool to watch a 3D horse move up the ranks from a match breeze, many horses are like people they" bring it" when they feel challenged.
