| I have a barrel saddle and a stock saddle and love the both of them. I use them on various style of horses and have yet to find on that did not like it. The barrel saddles really free up the horses. Dennis set the D Ring at a angle to let the cinch move with the horses when they are stretching out to run instead of binding them up! There are several people in the Billings, MT area that are using them. When I was looking this spring I called Dennis and visited with him about the saddles. He was very helpful. Also, if you do not like the saddle when you receive it you can send it back. Which I did with my first barrel saddle as when I ordered the saddles my barrel saddle was to be smaller than my ranch saddle and it was not so I called and he said to send it back. Oh and you can go and ride it but don't go run barrels in it...................He wants you to like the saddle but he does not want it in used condition when getting it back. Also, they are all hand made and do take some time to get the saddles and they start at the base price of $1900 and go up! Love mine! sorry for the book!

| When you talk about setting the D ring...do you have a picture? Or can you explain more.... With all the different settings, adjustable ones...etc. I am interested in this one and where it sits. thanks! |

| Well let me see if I can explain it right! Instead of the curve of the D ring going straight down it is set in so that it is facing more to the front. So when the horses front legs are extended the latigo moves with the horse. I do not have a picture handy and I do not see a picture the website that shows it. Hope that makes sense. If not I will try to see if I can get a pic tomorrow and post. |

Location: South of Canada and North of Mexico | My friend just got hers last night and is making a run in it today. She bought the Jane Melby one (gbargbarrelsaddles.com) they start at 2100. I emailed g-g last night and hoping I can get one as well. My friend was big on the Crown C's but after going g to Jane's clinic and riding in a g-g she thought she would try one and sold one of her crown c's. |

Location: Running barrels or watching nascar | I'm currently riding one on one of my horses. When I first got it, it was tricky to fit on my horse and I battled with what saddle pad to use. I currently use a merrill saddle pad w/ it. As a rider, when I first stepped in it, it fit me right away. It just took a while to get the correct pad in order to fit my round backed horse. My young horse has a skinnier back and does not like this same saddle. I've tried it on her w/ every pad I have. I currently ride her in an old courts and a 5-star. |

Location: The Frozen North | I've had one for about a year. I absolutely love the quality of this saddle and how it sits the rider. I think they tend to sit a bit farther back than many saddles. Where are you located? |

| I absolutely love mine! Talked with Dennis when he was at a trade show and talked with Jane Melby, sat in a few and decided on the seat size and options I wanted. Love how the saddle sits me, holds me in but doesn't trap me I can still get up and ride. Fits a lot of horses, the main horse I use it on is a big wide mare that is so mutton withered she really has no wither lol, but you just have to play around a little bit with the thickness of your pad. It's a great very well made saddle I couldn't be more happy! |
