Person buying a broodmare & making payments, needs to have the mares papers put in their name to send a copy in with the breeding contract. It is customary that the original owner keep the papers until horse is paid off. Breeding contract, copy of papers and deposit needs sent in ASAP. Tell your OP of a solution. With all due respect please do not say the buyer should not have bought the horse. That is not a resolution though its been a thought.

Have the original owner sign an aqha lease form stating you have breeding rights for 2014-2016 and send that with a copy of papers to stallion
