Location: Texas | Bremerhaven! So much fun, I liked it better than Munich. Eat in the train stations, the sausages there are AWESOME!!! Only thing to watch is that you will fall in love and you will never find them in another country lol. Amsterdam is a quick trip by train and absolutely stunning! You must have the dutch pancakes in amsterdam, amazing. The Anne Frank house was nice, a little over rated but I would reccomend it. Buy the train pass where you have unlimited rides to anywhere. France, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, all very close. Seems like it would take forever on the train but all are only a few hours. You could easily do Paris and Venice. BMW world was amazing. Feel free to PM me with any questions, I have friends/family in Germany, France, Italy, Greece, England, Ireland. Anywhere you are interested in I'm sure I can help you out. My dad has probably been to 60+ countries in his life time so I have lots of knowledge! |

Location: Bandera, TX | I was born in Munich, and grew up in a small town close to it. Bavaria is beautiful, lots to do and see. It depends on how much time you have... I miss Italy the most.
But truly, the options and possibilitis are endless. Let me know once you narrow it down a bit. |

Location: OK | If you're going to be there a week or longer-definitely get the rail pass! So worth it! We loved Nuremberg and Cologne (the cathedral is amazing). On a somber note, we also toured Dachau concentration camp. Very very moving--you can take the train to this as well. They have tours that explain what all the buildings were.
There is a little cafe right under the cathedral at Cologne where we sat outside, listened to German music, had authentic German beer and food!

| Go to Zakopane, Poland! It is such a beautiful place, it has a ton of hiking trails, and there are horses every which way.
Everywhere in Poland is beautiful, but IMO Zakopane takes the cake.

Location: Never in one place long | Thank you!! such great advice so far!!! I'm thinking we definitely need to do Amsterdam! The other German cities sound wonderful. I do love history so thinking WWII stuff and maybe a concentration camp although somber, would be interesting to see at least once.
Any other advice I'll take it! |
