Im thinking I want one to wear when Im running so I can figure out what Im doing.

Give me the good and bad of the cameras.

I have one, but we mainly use it for car racing.

I thought about using it for barrel racing, but if you put it on the breastcollar, it flops around too much. If you put it on your helmet, it's too far up to actually see anything. I think they make a chest attachment, but not sure if that would work either.

I have one with the chest attachment. You can see your hands pretty well with the chest attachment. It's a fun thing to do every now and then. I would recommend.

My husband is a scuba diver, and he has one for that.  It does a great job, even in low light.  He uses it on a wrist mount.  The only down side is that it doesn't have a view finder, so if you try to use it as a regular video camera, you just have to guess at where to aim.

We have one.  It's fun to watch, but I haven't found it particularly useful.  It's hard to get focused on what you want to focus on and, in case you didn't know, barrel racing is a wild, jerky ride.  The video is also wild and jerky so it's hard to get any great information.  Going slow is better, so if you wanted it for that it would be ok.

I had no clue barrel racing was wild and jerky. My 10D donkey and I tend to run the pattern backwards and it is smooth as silk :)

My best friend has one. She straps it to her chest and gets pretty good video. I would be scarred to stap it to my breast collar because I have destroyed many blingy conchos on my breast collars from hitting barrels so not brave enough to try a camera. I want to strap it my horses brow band but don't know how good the video would be. I've also seen people strap it to the bridle between the horses ears and have it facing them. The video comes out decent but I don't think my horses would tolerate something bugging there ears

We have two, but they are used for drag racing at the track. Never used it with horses.
