| I have 2 horses I want sheets for that will help with muscles/ joints. I can afford either 2 professional choice magnetic blankets or buy 1 BOT sheet and share it between the two. But then I have the "who gets to wear it when" delema |

Location: Texas | Have you looked used? A lot of times on FB you can find good deals on used named brand therapy stuff. I personally would buy 1 and then save up to buy another, in the end I think you will be happier that way. |

Yeah even used people still ask close to new prices for BOT and PHT.. Might as well spend the extra 50 and buy new. Prof choice is $130. BOT is $260 |

Location: MI | The U of Minnesota just reported on research re: the effects of magnetic blankets on 10 horses'...it was in their dec newsletter on their FB page. Of course, didn't say what kind, but I thought it was interesting. On the symptoms measured, blood flow, behavior, etc., they found no differences between a magnetic blanket and a placebo blanket. |

| I did see that...I also saw my horse who's been stiff and tense with a regular blanket on start to work markedly better 24 hours later when i layered his PHT on underneath...
I'm a magnet girl myself, but only PHT because Julie has such great quality control. I have used BOT on myself and I do feel a difference though - so I would go with the BOT and work in shifts until you can buy 2. |

| Been curious for a long time. Between bot and magnetic, and weather cheap magnetic or expensive wood really like a study between bot and magnetic. Also what about copper.

Location: Kansas | I bought Back on Track for my 18 year old horse. We had the magnetic blanket before and never saw any difference, but in only three hours with Back on Track on him, there were amazing results. In an arena that we have consistently been running 19.1 seconds in, after those first three hours, we ran a 17.2. I was definitely unsure of how it would actually work, but I am 100% BELIEVER of Back on Track. In my opinion it is very much worth the money. |

 Own It and Move On
Location: The edge of no where | I would buy the BOT blanket. I think that probably the PHT magnetic blankets are the only ones worth the money. I don't trust the quality of magnets that mass manufacturers are usings. I have a BOT sheet and LOVE it! |

I'll agree it **** sure makes a difference.....and no 1d or rodeo girls are even a bit overweight...but I do think some therapies work as well as getting your butt to the gym. |

 Am I really the Weirdo?

Location: Kansas | I have both for different horses. I think there are some horses who respond better to ceramic (BOT) than magnets and others who are the opposite. Chance and Joker LOVE the BOT sheets. I leave them on at the trailer until I'm ready to start warming up. I'll even throw the sheet back on over their saddle if I have to saddle early. Both of them have had a tendency to start their warmup walking kind of stiff, but that doesn't happen if they've had BOT sheets on while waiting at the trailer. I'm a believer in ceramic therapy on those two horses at least.
Clifford is a PHT pony though. He literally will chase you around the pen if you're carrying the PHT sheet. Ironically, I bought the PHT sheet to use on Chance this summer, and bought BOT to use on Cliff......then wound up swapping them to make each horse happier. Cliff is higher strung and the PHT sheet seems to relax him. I'd like to use BOT on him too because he has a tendency to get a little muscle sore sometimes, but right now he wears the PHT most of the time.
I have shared blankets, leg wraps, etc. among horses many times and I just put the goodies on whoever runs first to start the day, then switch the goodies to horse 2. The last couple weekends, I had one BOT sheet and one PHT sheet, but four horses in the trailer so 3 were sharing the BOT sheet. That was a little much LOL. |
