I'm in the process of ordering one and I'm stuck on one option. Should I leave a gullet cutout, leg cutout or cinch cutout.

What are the deciding factors for you that cause you to add these cutouts or leave them out of a custom saddle pad.? Since this is probably the only custom pad I'll ever order, want to make sure I get it right!

I have a saddle that fits my good mare well.  So, I opted just for the contoured back with the opening at the withers.

I felt I didn't need the other cut outs as I liked the 7/8 pad as it was and my saddle fits well.

Hope I helped! Good Luck!

Maybe Rockyroad will see this and answer .... she's the local rep lady and AWESOME to work with!

Thanks! Yea I'm ordering the 7/8 pad. But my gelding is very straight up and not very wide. I think i'm going to opt for the girth cut-out because that seems the most beneficial and he isn't high withered

hmm.. it wont let me check out with just a credit-card. keeps asking for a paypal account. Which this isn't my card and so there isn't a paypal account. It keeps redirecting me to an HTML page. . . anyone ever have an issue like this when ordering one?

Wait and work with RockyRoad, she has a great BHW price too.

I find my 7/8" too thick and causes my well fitting saddle to roll. I really like my 1/2" and could probably tolerate a 3/4". I wish I had the cutout now that I have a Pozzi that is much closer contact

Be careful who you order 5 Stars from.  There's a business operating that's a fraud when selling anything but one of them is 5 Stars.  Please contact Rockyroad (Deanna).  Find her on FB or send her a message on here.

I finally got your msg Laura - and am glad you were able to contact Katie on our FB page.  My internet is messing up again big time - this is the most frustrating thing!  So for anyone trying to contact me, I might be slow or you can go through the FB page & Katie will get any msgs that way.
And, in regards to what CYA said - yes, there is a company that was found to be "portraying" themselves as being 5 Star themselves ...  it was a FB page created by a well known, long time scammer that many old timers on here would recognize the name of.  I "accidently" found out about it from a woman complaining our our Used 5 Star FB page about 5 Star's business tactics - I contacted her since I knew that was not "right" and we figured out what was going on.  That page is still "up" but changed somewhat ... do NOT trust them since the woman that placed the order with them (thinking it was actually 5 Star themselves) has been through the mill with trying to get her refunds now since she did not receive her merchandise.
