Expert Posts: 1477 Location: In the land of peanuts and cotton	We have our internet through our cable company. They recently sold out to a larger cable company. Our cable is only going to go up $10 which isn't bad but out Internet is going up $40. So who are some other Internet providers that have good internet and not near as expensive? Veteran Posts: 253 Location: EDGE OF INSANITY	We have windstream (the only thing available where we live) when we first got it, it was 40/month. Then they were hit with a law suit where they had to pay out major $$$ and suddenly it jumped up to $60/month . Ive heard alot of people complain that the speed is super slow, but mine is pretty fast (that was also what the lawsuit was about, "false advertising" fast speed)

I Chore in Chucks Posts: 2882 Location: MD	we have the Verizon jet-pack. we pay 140 per month for our allotted gigs. and that isn't a typo. $140.00 We could get hughes net but it's so terrible and it's equivalent in price point. with Verizon we have a really great quick connection.
