I am considering ordering a Bob Marshall for me to ride in. The Fancy Round Skirt Barrel Racer to be exact. I am curious how you like your treeless saddle and which one you prefer over the other, and why. I'd like to know more about the Circle Y Treeless Saddles and options as well. I am concerned the fenders will not flex forward or backward like I would like. Any problems with the fixed fenders? Also, How does your treeless fit your horses back?
(snug, have to use shims, etc.
)What type of gullet did you have on a Treed saddle? Was it hard to fit to your horse when you first bought it?What type of pad do you use with your treeless? Pics of your treeless and how long you've had it would be appreciated. Looking to keep it for a while. Just want it to last. Thank you all. Feel free to add a brand I do not have listed or vote twice. Please Specify why.

I have a Tammy Fischer, the only thing that I didn't like about it was the metal stirrus and fenders. So I replaced the stirrups with Nettles and the fenders with English lethers. The wide fit fits really well on my bay mare. But on the sorrel mutton withered mare the saddle pops up in the back until it warms up lol. As for saddle pads I really like the CSI and saddleright. I think I've had the saddle for about two years and its held up quite well. I forgot to add that it also fits my big gelding with wide withers/shoulders

I have all three of these saddles. Bob marshal seems to sit best on all the horses it's round skirt and solid rough out
(hideous but a great deal
) however I don't like the nylon "fenders" and where it hangs your feet. Te circle Ys are awesome but don't quite form as well to each horse, but that's probably because of the skirt material and all the leather. The jackie j is my personal favorite when it comes to running in bc it feels like a regular treed saddle
(lower horn and cantle
) and it keeps your legs in a good
position so you don't get behind your horse.
