Location: SD | What are some awards you would like to see at a barrel race? I'm working on awards for a race and wanted to get some new ideas. I was thinking maybe folding wheel barrows or hay bags with wheels??? |

Great ideas!! I have a rolling hay bag it is great for overnight shows. I would love a folding wheel barrow. Soft ride boots certificate, magnetic wraps, etc- products everyone would love to have but won't/can't spend the $$. |

| I have a friend with a folding wagon that is AWESOME. We carry everything in it. It doubles as our wheelbarrow and we just set muck buckets in it. I need to get me one... |

| the money....
I hate when new district directors get the big idea to do this or do that and I don't mean to be negative but some of us don't do this for a hobby. I would rather have the money or at least have the option to have the money. I don't want a trophy saddle and I don't want a pad because usually the award money is not enough to buy something nice enough that I will like or even use.

Location: Alabama | Here is a link to a trophy catalog our club has used for several years. Our order is $6k - $8k a year. Great to work with & reasonable prices:

Location: Where I am happiest | The tall folding director chairs. They can be monogrammed to. They have the tall ones which I love and would love to win those. They even have them with a small folding arm table attached w/ a drink holder. Everybody sits by their trailers at over nighters and these are awsome chairs. |

I agree with this to some extent...I hate getting cheapo low quality products just so the producer/director can say "We're giving xxxxx for each D winner!" or whatever! It's also frustrating to get something that you already have, would never use, or doesn't fit. I love how the UBRA does their awards with the gift certificates. You can shop in their online store for BOT products, tack, jackets, etc. and choose what YOU want in the size you want! |
