| I attached a picture of a pozzi lifter bit id like to try. The picture shows all the measurements, curious who has tried this and what type of horses it works with. Thanks!

Location: Montana | I run my mare in a smooth snaffle version i out a leather chinstocking stuffer it, she is super ratey and this has helped free her up and still let me feel like I am in control. I tried it originally on my gelding and felt like I had no control with him (but he's huge and she's short lol he gets me a little nervous sometimes) |

Location: In my own little world | I liked it at first but after about 6 mo it got my horse to hopping and elevating coming out of each turn. So I went back to my previous bit with about 3/4"-1" gag in the center of the shank but total shank length the same as the Pozzi lifter and I have left him there for 3 years as he works awesome in ithat bit now. |

| With mine, I need help getting him to just sit and turn, he's really upright going around if that makes sense. |

| Have used the smooth snaffle version of this bit.........It is on my keeper list! I really like it.........my horse is more on his hind end with this, and I really don't use much rein pressure at all. You have to be very quiet with your hands with this bit, as you get immediate reaction, so if you make a wrong move or do not release quickly, you will get a little pop up of the head, or overfinish around the barrels. |

Location: North Dakota | Mine just needs a little help to break at the poll and drive his butt under him at his rate point. This bit allows me to gather him up very easily and guide him around the turn. Mine is pretty sensitive to what you put in his mouth; two pieces seem to freak him out a bit and I get more of an abrupt response, but with the three piece he seems to melt into a little more, but I still get the desired result. |
