What can you tell me about The Perfect Bit? Likes, dislikes? What type of horse are they best for? Has anyone tried the version with the noseband?

We have one for my husband's mounted shooting horse. She works great in it. It's the medium shank with the lifesaver (they don't make that mouth piece anymore). He went from a tie down and sliding gag to The Perfect Bit and she just worked so much better.

I got one for my mare in November. Best thing ever! She is softer in it and just works better. I have the twisted mouthpiece with the 5" shanks.

I have a few and they are okay to ride in but I never found one I liked to run in.

I like mine! It's the medium shank with dog bone. My gelding is defiantly softer in it and it keeps him lifted and square. I use to run him in it, but I switched to a tender touch cause I (all me) got in his way to much with it. However I still tune and work him in it to keep him rating and square & use it for poles! I also like it on my head horse
