What do you prefer? I own a Triple Creek right now and I love it but I've never owned a Corriente before. I like how they look and I like the price but I don't really know much about them. Do they fit well on narrow and wide horses?

I rode in a roper Corriente, and it was uncomfortable compared to my Triple Creek. I like the narrow twist in the triple creek and I felt like I was being split in 2 in the corriente.

You can't fairly compare a saddle built on a rope saddle tree to one on a barrel saddle tree.
I have no comparison however between Triple Creek and Corriente. I don't think I have ever seen a Triple Creek.

The triple creek has a ladies modified ground seat and is built to have a narrow twist
(like on an english saddle
). Martin barrel saddles even feel like I'm being split in 2. And I said roping saddle as my husband and my sister both have the corrientes.

I have a corriente ranch cutting saddle. It's technically my husband's but since he doesn't ride much it just sits around until I feel like riding in it randomly, or he decides to ride with me. It's perfect for the price. Nothing special but if you need an extra saddle it works. It's comfortable enough. It's not as nice as my custom Teskey's but it's also $1300 less. I have full rough out seat and fenders and I must say their rough out is ROUGH.

I can't really compare because I've never ridden in a corriente but I like my Triple Creek a lot. I've had it for 4 years now and it's my main saddle and it still looks amazing.

I've had both a Triple Creek and a Corriente. I LOVED my triple creek and could ride in it all day. I hated the Corriente, they're super cheaply made in comparison to a triple creek. That being said, the price difference there does refelct the difference in quality too.
