i am currently using triple crown complete,I don't see it keeping weight on my mare ,so looking to switch to a different type of pellet feed but with the same protein & fat ....... What r y'all using and is it working ???

I use to feed my hardkeeper Legends Performance pellet.  It had high fat and low starch.  I think she had ulcer problems so the low starch helped.  The Triple Crown Senior is great too because it has really low starch but high fat.  I used that awhile but then my picky girl decided she didn't like the beetpulp shreds.

How much are you feeding?

If 12% fat content doesn't put/keep weight on one, I would be looking for an underlying cause.
