Matthew 4:4 Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.
In some mysterious way we cannot comprehend , Jesus was aware that his true Father was God, even though he respectfully obeyed Joseph , the man whom everyone considered his father. The Gospel tells us that Jesus went home with them and was obedient, we can be sure they would never forget when they found him "sitting among the teachers" at the temple. he had just turned twelve years old. Jesus says " I had to be in my Fathers house, also meaning about my fathers business. Jesus had not only become man, according to Jewish thought, but, spiritually , he now had his sights set on "his Fathers business, something above and beyond the workaday world of the home of Joseph and Mary in Nazareth. Between Jesus and his earthly family another will was interposed, an infinitely greater will, the will of the Heavenly Father. To this will, every other relationship took second place. The letter of Hebrews 5:8 although he was a son , he learned obedience from what he suffered. the important word here is " learned". The New Testament tells us Jesus was the Son of God, but also fully human, and real human beings grow, develop and learn their way. one of the most human qualities is progressing gradually and slowly from a utterly helpless and dependent infant to an adult who has changed inwardly as well as outwardly.
it takes a daily process to be in a relationship with Jesus. To grow in Christ, be about our Heavenly Fathers business.
Father, guide us today to do all things to bring glory and honor to You AMEN
For it is with God all things are possible
Will you chew on the word of God today, fill your inner spirit AMEN
