I think the recommendation was 9 lbs/day? I'm pretty sure I was doing 4.5lbs twice a day.

They recommend feeding by weight not volume. They also sell a strategy scoop or cup that tells you how much your feeding

I feed my old horse senior feed with a 3 quart scooper. It comes out to be 1 pound per quart. So a full scoop is 3 pounds. Strategy shouldn't be too different.

WOW!!!!!!!!!! I feed Strategy Healthy Edge and have for years, and i just feed 3 cups
(regular cups
) in the mornings and 3 cups in the evenings....they get free choice hay and believe me you nearly have to put vaseline on thier sides to put them in a trailer they are all so fat... my oldest is 22 years old and he gets the same amount as the youngest... the purpose of feeding this feed is cause you can feed less and still get the nutrition they need...

you'll need to weigh it. My hard keeper gets 1.5 lbs 2x a day all year and the others get .75 lb 2x a day when I'm not riding them.

Three quart scoop of original Strategy weighs 3.8 pounds. Minimum you can feed is 3.5 pounds - per the rep. My easier keepers get 1 scoop per day, harder keepers get 1 and 1/2 scoop per day. I do feed rice bran and flax with it.

Our rangey paint gets a full scoop twice a day with beet pulp and the other 2 get 3/4 scoop twice a day with beet pulp.
(Healthy Edge
) 3 flakes of hay each also. They all look great
