I have been looking for a Flit to Kill baby but I haven't really found one with a dam I love. I got to thinking and I have a retired mare standing out in the field. She is super athletic, catty, and built well. She was never really hauled consistently so she didn't do much in the arena, but she did have the ability imo. I'm no expert on pedigree, so you guys tell me whatcha think!
I know the mare is nice, but what do the papers look like? You can be honest with me, won't hrt my feelings at all, promise! :
)
Thanks!

Flit To Kill crosses best with running bred mares. He also crosses exceptionally well with other pacific bailey horses. That doesn't mean that he won't cross nicely on your mare. Doc precription horses are very nice and catty. I think it could be a very good cross. Especially for someone willing to put in the time.

I raised 2 FTK fillies, one out of a BA75/Doc O Lena mare, and the other out of a daughter of Colonel Hotrodder. We sold both of them as 2 year olds with just a few rides. They were both very easy to start under saddle, friendly, just really nice fillies. The BA75 cross produced a tall filly. She was lanky when she left here, but I'm assuming she filled out. The Colonel Hotrodder filly did not have the height. The current owners have shared videos of the both fillies early in their barrel careers, and they both looked excellent on the pattern. They mentioned several times how smart and easy to get along with they were.
I know those lines aren't the same as your mare, but a little similar in the sense that they carried some cow lines. And as far as breeding to FTK, his owners were always great to work with and very helpful and willing to share knowledge and offer suggestions. It's been a few years, but he shipped excellent and we didn't have trouble getting the mares in foal even though they weren't the easiest breeders.
